Stephanie and Anthony had a great time laughing at each other. It was so exciting to see a couple who's wedding I photographed in 2009 still in just as much love as their wedding day. I felt honored to be included in yet another milestone in their life's journey. Thank you for letting me be a part of your next step in life.

Anthony and Stephanie - Maternity Session
Colby Park in Wickliff was the location for Tony and Stephanie's maternity session. Due to the unseasonably warm weather, we were able to take some great pictures with flowers in bloom. Nature was showing its spring colors. Flowers were in bloom. Lush grass was growing. Trees were starting to sprout their leaves. A beautiful day in April indeed.

Exciting News!!
The past few months I've been relatively quite. Needless to say, I have been enjoying the downtime that comes with Cleveland "winters" with wedding photography. I use the term winter loosely due to our unseasonably warm weather we had this year. Next Saturday kicks off our 'official' wedding season with Keith and Monica's wedding. This coming Monday, however, is our first ever Maternity Session! I've done maternity pictures before, don't get me wrong, but this is the first one I'll be doing as Orchard Photography. I'll be photographing Anthony and Stephanie. Photographing these two is extra special because I photographed their wedding back in 2009. I'm excited that I have the opportunity to be a part of their journey of building a family.
Maternity pictures are something to be proud of, however its not my big announcement. After two weeks of interviewing prospective photographers in the area, I can officially announce that we're officially growing! I'm bringing on three 1st photographers and three 2nd shooters that reflect my company's attention to detail, photographic style and respect for others. My goal is to ensure that every person I bring on to photograph weddings is an extension of my beliefs, values, and talent to ensure that the quality of your images are no different than what is represented on my website.
Thank you to all of my past clients for helping me get to this point. Without each and every engagement shoot, wedding, senior picture session and now maternity session, we would never be where we are today. Its wonderful people like you that drives the heart and soul of Orchard Photography. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday weekend!

Olivia - Senior Pictures
I met Olivia and her father at the Cleveland Arcade to take Olivia's senior pictures. Olivia was a bit shy in front of the camera, but I had her laughing in no time. We were everywhere in the Arcade trying to get great photos with different poses. She did a great job! Since the weather was beautifully warm for November, we decided to go to East 4th street to take advantage of the mild weather. There, Olivia really relaxed and started to have fun. We were able to take our time and get some GREAT poses. I had a great time and Olivia did a superb job modeling!

Alan and Michelle - Engagment Session
I did Alan and Michelle's engagement session as a wedding gift (Michelle is my cousin-in-law). We decided to go to some of the Geneva wineries to get some gorgeous pictures of the fall foliage. We did not count on the weather, however, to be so uncooperative. It was sunny and beautiful every weekend in October EXCEPT for the weekend we picked. After trying to get a few shots under some of the awnings around the winery, we decided to temporarily give up and grab lunch instead. It was frigid, windy and raining.
After dining at Ferrante, the rain subsided and hints of sun were trying to peak through the clouds. We took that opportunity to head back to the other wineries for some pictures. We stopped at the Harpersfield Bridge for some rustic pictures. After, we hit up South River Vineyards for pictures. They don't allow professional photography on site, so we had to sneak into the vineyard for pictures. We ended the day at the railroad going into Geneva on the Lake. A session which lasts around an hour and a half turned into a 4 hour excursion. We were determined, however, and the pictures came out great.

David and Karisa - October 8, 2011
David, Karisa and I had quite a unique meeting during their wedding planning. Living in Florida, they were planning a Youngstown, Ohio wedding. Karisa got in contact with me through another photographer a few days before I was going down to Florida on vacation. We arranged a meeting in Tampa Bay. Meeting at Starbucks, we discussed their wedding day plans first, then headed to Clearwater Beach for their engagement photos.
After reviewing their photos, Karisa and David decided to officially book me for their wedding day. To be honest, I had been nervously looking forward to this wedding all season. I was looking forward to it because both David and Karisa were so kind and genuine during our awkward meeting. Nervous because I didn't want to mess up their long-distance wedding. The day went off without a hitch. There was laughter all day, tears for the memory of Karisa's mother and a warm buzz of excitement in the group.
After the ceremony we headed to the Women's Park in the Niles area for group pictures. The personalities really came out then! There were times where it was impossible to take pictures because we all were laughing so hard. The reception hall was beautiful. Family surrounded the newlywed couple with love and support. It was then where I found out how David and Karisa learned to be so kind. During the Anniversary Dance, the dance floor was PACKED with couples who had been married for over 35 years.
I had such a great time photographing their wedding. I hope to have the opportunity to see them again the next time I visit my family in Florida. Congratulations guys
