Jonathan and Deohn - September 17, 2011

Jonathan and Deohn were a great couple to Photograph.  They were so friendly, funny and kind.  I don't think there was a time during the day where we didn't laugh!
The day started off getting ready at Deohn's Parent's house. Afterwards, we headed to the church. There the families kept coming in to see Deohn and how beautiful she looked. Cameras flashed everywhere as everyone tried to make sure they could get a picture with the nervous bride. I met Johnathan and his groomsmen in one of the back rooms behind the alter. Jokes were flying everywhere as the guys worked out their pre-wedding jitters.
After the ceremony, we headed to the Browns Stadium and the East 9th Pier.  Talk about fun!  It was hard to get everyone to stop chatting with each other, including myself, to get serious for pictures.  We were having too much fun!

At the reception, toasts to the newlywed couple were numerous.  So many people wanted to share their love for the newlyweds.  It was so touching!  The night commenced with great food, awesome music and...the word of the evening...FUN!  I will remember this wedding for years to come.

Scott and Jennifer - September 10, 2011

Scott and Jennifer won an engagement sitting from my booth at the Q104 Bridal Show this past January. After getting their pictures back from the engagement session, they booked me to photograph their wedding at Sandusky's Kalahari Waterpark and Resort. (When I found out about their wedding location I knew I just HAD to be their photographer).

I met up with them at Kalahari on the 9th of September for their rehearsal. They covered a room for my self and my husband for the weekend to make sure we were well rested for the big day. We joined them, their families and bridal party for pizza at an amazing local pizza stop after wards. Saturday morning, I was down the hall with the girls and my husband was with the guys taking pictures. It was raining all day, but the weather finally broke so we were able to have the ceremony on the bridge. I was so excited, the indoor location was nice, but not as dramatic. After, we took pictures around the hotel, on the bridge and even in the arcade. The event coordinator and director even set it up to take pictures with the tiger cub. Too cute!!

The night ended with a lovely reception. The food there was amazing. The sense of family, love and community was apparent throughout the entire reception. I huge thank you to Scott and Jennifer for their hospitality during the day. They were such a warm and friendly couple. Congratulations!!!!

Anthony and Nicole - August 7, 2011

I met Anthony and Nicole during Tremayne and DeVida's wedding back in July.  Shortly after DeVida's wedding, Nicole got in contact with me and she booked me for her wedding.

Nicole couldn't have paid mother nature for nicer weather. Her outdoor wedding was beautifully staged with bright flares of yellows and pinks around the venue. The ceremony was lovely. Nicole's father conducted the ceremony with pure elegance. After the ceremony, Anthony, Nicole and I played around the church grounds to capture some great pictures.

The reception was just as bright and energetic as the wedding ceremony. Family and friends shared in speeches toasting the newlyweds. Nicole's three sons even serenaded their mother and new step-father as a gift to celebrate their new family. Everyone at the reception was so warm and welcoming that I felt like a member of the family by the end of the evening. Being invited to share in Anthony and Nicole's day was an honor.
